Through the eyes of Saul Leiter

Today's London Street Photography Meetup was all about Saul. We started off visiting the last day of Saul Leiter's exhibition at the Photographer's Gallery and then hit the streets emanating his distinctive style.

Leiter favours almost abstract anonymous people or parts of people shot through small gaps, smeared or rain splattered windows. He was drawn to bold reflections, punches of low saturated red and little touches of New York.

In my attempts at a homage I seemed to be mainly stalking buses, peering through battered telephone boxes or metal railings, and even captured a rare selfie. Another fun Meetup, thank you Polly!
