The reception on our floor has been sporting vivid blue orchids recently. They coordinate well with the logo and decor so I'd admire the choice. From my very slight knowledge of blue orchids I think blue dye was introduced to the burgeoning blood as I suspect it too electric to be natural. Flowers that are called blue are often more purple or softer, like a bluebell.
At least I can capture the hothouse flowers at our reception as the flowers on our main reception are a no go zone. I'm not positive why cameras are banned, the normal excuse is worry about recording our security systems or possibly other visitors but really I'm only interested in the flora. But security will be security.
